Kilkenny 'Borough Council' Waste Collection Service to Cease
The Kilkenny 'Borough Council' Waste Collection Service to Cease
The so called Kilkenny 'Borough Council' waste collection service will cease after the 27th January 2017. Customers are required to make arrangements with an alternative waste management provider. Currently there are three permitted waste collectors operating in Kilkenny City; Greenstar, Doheny Wheelie Bins & Recycling Ltd & Country Clean Recycling.
A provision has been put in place for customers living on narrow laneways that can't be accessed by a commercial refuse truck. Customers located on laneways listed below can continue using the 'borough' pre-paid refuse and recycling bags and present them as usual on Wednesdays.
