Local & European Elections 2014-Changes to Polling Stations
The following changes will be made to Polling Stations in relation to the forthcoming Local & European Elections which are being held on Friday 23 rd May 2014.
Kilmanagh
The following areas have been moved from Kilmanagh National School to Callan Parish Hall Booth No 3
Ballyline, Cappaghhayden, Gorteenalee, Killaloe, Kylenaskeagh, Kylevehagh, Lakyle, Redhouse, Rossmore, Scotsborough, Tingarraun, Tinnakilly and Whitehouse.
If you are from any of these areas and your voting station has traditionally been Kilmanagh National School your voting station has now changed to Callan Parish Hall.
The following areas have been moved from Kilmanagh National School to Cuffesgrange National School Booth No 2
Ballykeeffe Castle Kilmanagh, Ballykeeffe Castle Cuffesgrange, Ballykeeffe Hill Kilmanagh, Ballykeeffe Bog Cuffesgrange, Ballykeeffe Cuffesgrange, Cooleshall Cuffesgrange, Coontraght Cuffesgrange, Dairyhill Cuffesgrange, Dereen Cuffesgrange, Foxcover Cuffesgrange, Graigueooly Callan, Greak Oak Callan, Reisk Cuffesgrange.
If you are from any of these areas and your voting station has traditionally been Kilmanagh National School your voting station has now changed to Cuffesgrange National School.
Ballycallan
The following areas have been moved from Ballycallan Hall Polling Station to Cuffesgrange National School Booth No 2
Aghenderry, Aghinraheen, Ballybur, Desart Demesne, Grove, Killballykeeffe, Knockavally, Monavaddra, Muck, Oak Tree Farm, Rylands.
If you are from any of these areas and your voting station has traditionally been Ballycallan Hall your voting station has now changed to Cuffesgrange National School.
Windgap
The following areas have been moved from Windgap National School Polling Station to Callan Parish Hall Booth No 2
Butlerswood, Clashavaha, Coolaghflags, Coolaghmore, Cruan, Farranaree, Garranmachenry Nine-mile-house, Garraun, Garryricken, Garrythomas, Graig Windgap, Killamery Carrick On Suir, Kiltallagthan, Knockbutton, Kyle East and West, Mantingstown, Roscon, Screhan, Seskin.
If you are from any of these areas and your voting station has traditionally been Windgap National School your voting station has now changed to Callan Parish Hall.
Callan
The Girls Convent National School will not be used for the 2014 elections. The two Polling Booths that have traditionally been in the school have been transferred to Callan Parish Hall.
Goresbridge and Dungarvan
The following areas have been moved from Goresbridge National School to Dungarvan Parish Hall
Bramblestown Gowran, Grange Upper Gowran, Neigham Gowran, Scart Dungarvan.
If you are from any of these areas and your voting station has traditionally been Goresbridge National School your voting station has now changed to Dungarvan Parish Hall.
KilkennyCity
The Abbey Business Centre will not be used as a polling station. The following areas in the Kilkenny City West Electoral Area have been transferred to St. Canices School Granges Road, No. 4 Booth.
Abbey Bridge Dean Street, Abbey Gardens Black Mill Street, Abbey Street, Bianconi Court, Bishopshill (part of), Black Abbey, Black Abbey Street, Blackmill Street, Bridge Water Dean Street, Coach Road, Common Hall, Dean Street, Dominic Street Lower, Freren Court, Friar’s Bridge, No’s 1 to 9 Irishtown, Newbuilding Lane, Abbey Rise Newbuilding Lane, Key Court Newbuilding Lane, Steeple Court Newbuilding Lane, No’s 1 to 30 Parliament Street, Priory Square, St. Canice’s Place, The Spires Dean Street, Troy’s Court, No’s 1 to 11 Troysgate, No’s 24 to 32 Vicar Street, Watergate.
The following areas in the Kilkenny City East Electoral Area have been transferred to St. Canices School, Granges Road, No. 5 Booth
Banim Terrace, Bishopshill(part of), Freshford Road, Greenfield Court, Greenfield Road, Green Street, Greenfields No’s 19 to 24, Loreto Avenue, Meadow Hill, Riverside Drive, Troys Green, No’s 31 to 45 Parliament Street, No’s 19 to 27 Troysgate, No’s 10 to 18 Irishtown, No’s 1 to 19 Vicar Street.
Electors who have traditionally voted at the Abbey Business Centre should note these changes.
CBS Stephen Street, KilkennyCity
Electors in the following areas have been transferred from CBS Stephen Street to St. John ofGodNational SchoolNo. 2 Booth
Rose Inn Street No’s 1 to 14 and No’s 31 to 34, St. Kieran Street No’s 1 to 30.
Electors who have traditionally voted in CBS Stephen Street should note these changes.
