Notice of the Making of the Kilkenny County Development plan 2014-2020
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 12(12) of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2013 that Kilkenny County council, being the Planning Authority for County Kilkenny, has made in accordance with the provisions of the above Acts, a County Development Plan on the 22nd of April 2014. The Plan will come into effect on the 20th May 2014.
The Kilkenny County Development Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report, prepared in accordance with the Planning and Development 9Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004-2011 and an Appropriate Assessment, pursuant to Article 6 of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC.
The Kilkenny County Development 2014-2020 is available for inspection at the following locations:
- The Planning Office of Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 4.00p.., Monday to Friday (both dates inclusive but excluding Public Holidays).
- The Council's Area Offices with opening hours as follows:
- Thomastown Area Office - Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, closed 1-2pm.
- Callan Area Office - Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, closed 1-2pm.
- Castlecomer Area Office - Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, closed 1-2pm.
- Ferrybank Area Office - Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, closed 1-2pm.
- The City and County Library, Johns Quay, Kilkenny and the branch Libraries at Loughboy, Ferrybank, Urlingford and Graiguenamanagh during their normal opening hours.

A Copy of the Plan is available for purchase form the Planning Department, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny.
