Local Area Plans

The review of the Ferrybank-Belview Local Area Plan (2009-2020) has
commenced. A public consultation meeting was held (in conjunction with
Waterford City and County Councils) on the 18th February in Abbey College
in Ferrybank.

Submissions are being accepted until the 6th March,

Abbey Quarter/ Smithwicks Brewery Site – Re-Visioning

The Council held a very successful workshop in conjunction with Comhairle
na nÓg in February, and gathered the views of young people of Kilkenny.
The report on all the Re-Visioning public consultation is being compiled at
present.  Due to the number of submissions received, the report will now be
published in early March.  We will notify all our registered ourplan users
via email once this report is published on our website.

Mayfair

The deadline for submissions has been extended to April 24th to the Mayfair redevelopment proposal.
