NOTICE TO WATER CONSUMERS
Kilkenny County Council are undertaking a programme of essential watermain installation works throughout Kilkenny City in September 2009.
Areas affected will experience reduced pressure and may be without water.
Works are to be carried out in Kilkenny City from Monday 14th September to Thursday 17th September, affecting the following areas:
Monday 14th September, 7am - 6pm:
Loughboy
Cedarwood Areas.
Ardnore
Loughboy Shopping Centre
Joiners Folly
Smithsland Areas
Tuesday 15th September, 7am - 6pm:
Blackmill Street
DeLoughrey Place
Wednesday night 16th and 17th September, 7pm-7am:
Vicar Street
Irishtown
Dean Street
The Butts Area
Freshford Road
Consumers are asked to note that details of shutdowns in each area will be announced in advance on local radio.
It is recommended that water-using appliances are NOT used in the affected areas during these periods of essential works.
