River Suir catchment Flood Risk Assessment and Management Study
The aim of the study is to develop a Flood Risk Management Plan for the Suir
CatchmentArea and it is important that the knowledge and views of the public are taken into account
during this process.
You are invited to attend a series of Public Information Days in January 20I0 during which members of
the project team will be available for questions and to discuss any aspect of the Study. Maps showing
Areas of Potential Significant Flood Risk identified within the catchment will be on display at the
information days along with a Strategic EnvironmentalAssessment Seoping Report.
The OPW and its partners, North Tipperary, South Tipperary, Kilkenny. Waterford and Limerick
County Councils and Waterford City Council, are seeking your cooperation to ensure the successful
development ofa Flood Risk Management Plan for the area.
