Notice of having prepared Draft Local Area Plans
For Fiddown and Piltown
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the County of Kilkenny propose to make Local Area Plans (LAPs) for Fiddown and Piltown.
A copy of the Draft LAPs may be inspected from Wednesday 7th July to Friday 20th August, 2010 at the following locations:
LOCATION OPENING HOURS
Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, John Street Mon.- Fri. 9am-1pm, 2-4pm
Newrath Area Office Mon.- Fri. 9am- 5pm Piltown Parish Community Centre, Piltown Mon - Sat 9am-10.30p.m.
The Draft Plans will also be available on the Council's website at www.kilkennycoco.ie
Submissions with respect to the Draft Local Area Plans, made in writing to the Director of Services, Planning, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny and received before 4pm on the 20th August 2010, will be taken into consideration before the Local Area Plans are made. Submissions can also be made via email to localareaplans@kilkennycoco.ie
An Information Evening will be held on Thursday 29th July in Piltown Parish Community Centre at 7.30 pm. The purpose of the Information Evening is to provide an opportunity for the public to view the Draft Plans and speak with a member of the planning team in advance of making submissions on the plans.
Copies of the Draft LAPs will be available for purchase through the Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council at a cost of €20 for a hard copy.
