N77 Ballynaslee Road Realignment Scheme

Kilkenny County Council is delighted to announce the official opening of the N77 Ballynaslee Road Realignment Scheme. Located just north of Ballyragget Village this 2km road realignment will greatly enhance road safety and road capacity on this stretch of road network in north Kilkenny. The scheme was completed at a cost €4.5million and has be an objective of successive County Kilkenny Development Plans since the early 1970's. With state sponsored road grants the opening represents a landmark day for County Kilkenny, North Kilkenny and, most particularly, the community of Ballynaslee, Co. Kilkenny.

The scheme will be officially opened on Thursday 22nd October at 11am by Mr. Paschal Donohoe T.D. Minister for the Dept of Transport Tourism and Sport and Cllr. Mary Hilda Cavanagh, Cathaoirleach, Kilkenny County Council.
