Notice of Decision to Close Road - N77 Hennebry's Cross to Ardaloo

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the DECISION of Kilkenny County Council to close to Public Traffic a section of the N77 National Secondary Road, from the N77/N78 Junction at Hennebry’s Cross to the Junction of the N77 and the L1825 at Ardaloo. This restriction is necessary to facilitate essential road strengthening works – Details of the proposed road closure is as follows:

| N77 National Secondary Road from N77/N78 Junction at Hennebry’s Cross to the Junction of the N77 and the L1825 at Ardaloo. | N77 Southbound traffic from Durrow divert at Ballyragget via R694 to Castlecomer and N78 to Kilkenny. N77 Northbound traffic from Kilkenny diverts via N78 at the junction of the N77/N78 Hennebry’s Cross to Castlecomer, and via the R694 from Castlecomer to Ballyragget. Restricted local diversions will also be in place, utilising the Regional and Local Road network. These diversions will be signed and key junctions will be manned during the period of the road closure. | From Monday 8th September to Friday 17th October 2014. The closure will be for the full 24hr period of each day closed. |
