Notice of Decision to Close Road - R697 at Birchwood, Tullahought, Monday 6th July 2015

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the decision of Kilkenny County Council to close to public traffic the following public road commencing Monday, 6th July, 2015 to facilitate tree felling works.

Road to be Closed:

R697 at Birchwood, Tullahought, Co. Kilkenny

Alternative Routes:

HGVs from Callan - N76 to Glenbower, R696 to Lisadobber & L5106 via Faugheen to re-join R697. Traffic for Carrick-on-Suir should stay on the R696. Reverse route in operation for vehicles travelling to Callan

HGVs from M9 Interchange at Knocktopher - M9 to Granny (Waterford) & N24 to Carrick-on-Suir

Other Vehicles - at Hawes Cross divert on to the R697 towards Kilmaganny, L1034 towards Piltown & R698 to Scogh

Alternative routes will be signposted.

Duration of Closure:-
From 6th July to 31st July, 2015 - between 10.00am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday
