Notice of Intention to Extinguish Public Right-of-Way at the following location:

Part of disused public right of way over private lands at Belview Port, Gorteens, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny - length approximately 150m

Notice is hereby given that Kilkenny County Council in pursuance of Section 73 of the Roads Act, 1993, proposes to extinguish the right-of-way over lands at the above location. The right-of-way to be extinguished is indicated on a map, which may be inspected at the offices of Kilkenny County Council, John Street, Kilkenny and Newrath Area Office, Newrath, Co. Kilkenny, during normal office hours 9.00 a.m. to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, until Friday, 30th November, 2012.

Any representation or objection to the proposal may be made in writing addressed to the undersigned not later than 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 14th December, 2012.

It should be noted that any person making such representation or objection may make a request in writing to state their case at an oral hearing conducted by a person appointed by the Local Authority for that purpose.
