Proposal to Declare a Road to be a Public Road.

Kilkenny Council, being the Road Authority for the County of Kilkenny, proposes to declare the road constructed at Kellymount, Paulstown under planning permission in 2008 to the perimeter of the limestone quarry connecting the LP2625 to the LS6671 and measuring approximately 650 metres in length to be a public road in accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act, 1993. This process is initiated to facilitate the taking in charge by Kilkenny County Council of this road set out in accordance with Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000.

Map showing the road may be inspected during normal office hours at Customer Services Desk, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny and at the Thomastown Area Office during the period Wednesday 14th December 2011 to Friday 10th February 2012 (excluding Christmas holiday period 23rd December 2011 to 2nd January 2012).

Written objections or representations in relation to the proposal may be made to Kilkenny County Council, County Hall on or before Friday 24th February 2012.
All such written objections or representations will be considered by the members of Kilkenny County Council.
