Roads Update on Tuesday 12th January 2010 at 9.30am
The M8 and all National Routes through County Kilkenny were salted last night and are deemed passable with care.
While much of the Regional Road network was salted and/or gritted yesterday Kilkenny County Council wishes to advise that sections of the Regional and Local Road network remain icy and extremely dangerous. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution as the thaw continues with slush and moisture concealing ice blankets in many areas.
