Temporary Closure of Roads from the N77/N78 Junction at Hennebry's Cross to Ballycomey, just south of Castlecomer

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the DECISION of Kilkenny County Council to close to Public Traffic a section of the N78 National Secondary Road, from the N77/N78 Junction at Hennebry's Cross (Dunmore East) to Ballycomey, just south of Castlecomer. This restriction is necessary to facilitate essential road improvement works - Details of the road closure is as follows:

Road to be Closed	Alternative Routes	Duration of Closure
N78 National Secondary Road from the N77/N78 Junction at Hennebry's Cross (Dunmore East) to Ballycomey, just south of Castlecomer.	N78 South bound traffic from Athy divert at Castlecomer via R694 to Ballyragget and N77 to Kilkenny. N77 Northbound traffic from Kilkenny to Castlecomer divert via N77 at the junction of the N77/N78 Hennebrys Cross to Ballyragget, and via the R694 from Ballyragget to Castlecomer. Restricted local diversions will also be in place. These diversions will be signed and key junctions will be manned during the period of the road closure.	From Monday 5/09/16 to Saturday 10/09/16 & Monday 12/09/19 to Saturday 17/09/16 The closure will be from 7am to 7pm each day.
