Temporary Road Closures - Kilkenny City within period 4th May to 1st November

SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

Notice is hereby give of the decision Kilkenny Local Authorities to close to public traffic sections of the following roads for the purpose of Road Improvements Schemes works within the period Tuesday 4th May to Monday 1st November 2010.
Local residents will be notified in advance of the works.
Local diversions will be in place and local access will be provided where possible.
Each individual road will be closed for the duration of the works only, generally a maximum time frame of two weeks within the overall period identified above.

Tullaroan Rd. from Lacken to Airfield Rd	via Sart Rd , Freshford Rd
R693 Freshford Rd, From Troyswood to Thornback lane (City Side)	via N77 Castlecomer , Ardaloo, Threecastles
R695 Kennyswell Rd. From Junction Circular Rd to Junction at Dominic Street.	via Circular Rd & Old Circular Rd
R886 New Rd. From Junction at Greens bridge to Roundabout at Castlecomer Rd.	via Vicar Street, Dean St, Kennyswell Rd Circular Rd & Ring Rd, Castlecomer Rd.
LP 2603 Lovers Lane From New Orchard Rd Junction to Junction to Newpark	via Golf Links Rd, Ballybought Street.
R887 Upper John Street , Kilkenny	via Wolfe Tone Street, Michael Street ,
R693 Vicar Street,	via Dean Street, Butts Green, Granges Rd, Freshford Rd.
N77/N78 Castlecomer Road Sections from Ring Rd to Ardaloo	via Ardaloo, Threecastles, and Freshford Road.
