Temporary Road Works Speed Limit - N78 Dysart Bridge
Road Works Speed Limit
Under Section 10 of the above Act, it is the intention of Kilkenny County Council to impose Road Works Speed Limit from 13th September 2010 to 3rd December 2010 as detailed below.
Maximum extent of Road works Speed Limit of 60 & 50kph on the N78 National Road as follows:
60kph transition zone on the N78 south of Dysart Bridge (South) from a point 284m south of Dysart Bridge (South) to a point 139m south of Dysart Bridge (South)
60kph transition zone on the N78 north of Dysart Bridge (South) from a point 323m north of Dysart Bridge (South) to a point 468m south of Dysart Bridge (South)
50kph zone on the N78 at Dysart Bridges from a point 139m south of Dysart Bridge (South) to a point 323m north of Dysart Bridge (South)
The above are the maximum extents of speed limits required. To minimise delays the 50kph speed limit and the 60kph transition speed limit (where applicable) will only be activated as and when required during the prescribed period to facilitate the works.
