Climate Change

Scientific evidence that climate change is happening is unequivocal. Ireland is threatened with wetter winters, more intense rainfall and associated flooding and infrastructure damage. In addition summer droughts with associated water shortages are predicted. Kilkenny County Council has committed itself in playing a lead role in the development and implementation of high energy efficiency standards and practices that can lead by example and drive change through the wider community.
