Litter Management Plan 2015-2017
Under the Litter Pollution Act, the Council must revise it's Litter Management Plan every three years. A draft plan underwent public consultation in Spring 2015 and it was formally adopted by the Councillors the following June. The Plan explains the Council's policy on litter related issues and sets outs objectives to be achieved by the end of 2017.
The plan is available to download here and copies are available free of charge at your local library and from the Environment Section in County Hall.
The plan is due to be revised before the end of 2017, under the Litter Pollution Act, public consultation must occur while in its draft stage, Kilkenny County Council encourages the public to engage in the public consultation phase to ensure the final Plan meets the requirements of the community.
