Anti Dog Fouling Campaigns
Kilkenny County Council runs continuous anti dog fouling campaigns. The Green Dog Walker Programme ran between 2013- 2016 and encouraged dog walkers to sign a pledge to carry bags with them on dog walks to enable dog walkers to clean up after their dog should it be required. A new campaign was launched in Autumn 2016 and will run during 2017. This campaign focuses on the potential health impacts that can occur if dog poo is left in the open environment.
