Late Payment Penalties
No new late payment penalties are being applied to existing NPPR liabilities for a period from 02nd March 2014 to 31st August 2014.
If payment is not made by 31st August 2014, an additional late payment fee of €120 per year is applied on 1st September 2014. In addition, the entire NPPR liability is increased by a factor of 50% and then frozen. For example, 5 years NPPR liability will increase from €4,220 to €7,230.
Please note that all properties require a Certificate of Exemption or a Certificate of Discharge from the NPPR in order to be sold.
There is no annual €200 NPPR charge payable for 2014.
