Church Avenue Park is a pocket park measuring approximately 0.35 hectares (0.9 acres) which was developed in 2006 with the aid of funding from the Urban and Village Renewal Scheme. Prior to its development the area was an area of waste land that was the location for anti social behaviour.

The park has been developed to provide a high quality recreational amenity for residents of the surrounding estates including footpaths including the provision of informal seating, a multisports wall accommodating a range of sports including soccer, basketball and hurling together with a hopscotch area for smaller children.
