Section 75 – 1993 Roads Act

Kilkenny County Council is in receipt of a request from Carlow Rally Club for the closure of the following roads on Saturday, 1^st June 2013 for the purposes of holding a motor car rally. Notice is hereby given of the INTENTION of Kilkenny County Council to close the following roads to facilitate this event.

LS6655 from its junction with the LS6734 at Johnswell to its junction with the LS6735, also at Johnswell. LS6735 from its junction with the LS6655 to its junction with the LP2616 at Kilderry. LP2616 from its junction with the LS6735 at Kilderry to its junction with the LS6651 at Higginstown Cross. LP2616 from its junction with the LS6735 at Kilderry for a distance of approx. 300m in an easterly direction. LS6655 from its junction with the LS6735 at Johnswell for a distance of 200m in a south easterly direction.	LS6651 from its junction with the LP2616 at Higginstown Cross through Sandfordscourt, LP2613 to Kilkieran Cross roads, LP2614 to Carrigeen, LS6654 and LS6655 to Johnswell. LS6655 to Ballysallagh, LP1851 to Mount Nugent Upper, LS6654 and LS6655 to Johnswell. LP2616 to Ballysallagh, LP1851 to Mount Nugent Upper, LS6654 and LS6655 to Johnswell. or LS6656 from Ballysallagh Cross via Kilmagar to Clarabricken, LP2628 & LS6662 via Baunmore and Eagleshill and LP6651 to Higginstown Cross	10am to 6pm on Sat. 1^st June 2013.

LS6735 from its junction with the LS6655 to its junction with the LP2616 at Kilderry.

LP2616 from its junction with the LS6735 at Kilderry to its junction with the LS6651 at Higginstown Cross.

LP2616 from its junction with the LS6735 at Kilderry for a distance of approx. 300m in an easterly direction.

LS6655 from its junction with the LS6735 at Johnswell for a distance of 200m in a south easterly direction.

LS6651 from its junction with the LP2616 at Higginstown Cross through Sandfordscourt,

LP2613 to Kilkieran Cross roads,

LP2614 to Carrigeen,

LS6654 and LS6655 to Johnswell.

LS6655 to Ballysallagh, LP1851 to Mount Nugent Upper, LS6654 and LS6655 to Johnswell.

Sat. 1^st June 2013.

These road closures will be manned by rally stewards from the Carlow Car Club who, where possible, will facilitate traffic movement and local access in the area of the road closures.

Objections to the proposed road closure should be submitted in writing to the undersigned at Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny, not later than 12 noon on Thursday 25^th April 2013.
