Kilkenny City - New One Way System from Tuesday April 6

Kilkenny Local Authorities advise motorists, business owners and residents that a new one way street system will operate in Kilkenny City from 7.00 am on Tuesday morning April 6th, 2010.

The streets affected are as follows:

• Lower John Street and Rose Inn Street to operate one way westbound towards the Parade.
• High Street to operate one way northbound.
• Michael Street will be one way only in the direction of John Street.
• Back lane will operate one way from Carnegie Library Car Park towards Michael Street.
• Jacob Street will be one way towards Patrick Street and New Street will operate in northerly direction from McDonalds Restaurant to its junction with Jacob Street.
• Fr. Hayden Road in an easterly direction.

Motorists, pedestrians and all road users are advised to exercise caution over the coming weeks and to observe new directional signage in place.
