N10/N76 Kilkenny Ring Road to Shellumsrath Pavement Improvement Scheme

N10/N76 Kilkenny Ring Road to Shellumsrath Pavement Improvement Scheme (Divided into 4 Phases)

Phase 1 - Bennettsbridge Road Roundabout and Ossory Bridge.

Road improvement works are expected to be completed by the end of January 2012; this will allow for the removal of all traffic restrictions at this location.

Phase 2 & 3 - Waterford Road Roundabout to the Callan Road Roundabout.

Kerbing and resurfacing works will continue on this section of the Ring Road until the end of April 2012. Traffic restrictions will be in operation on the n10 & N76 Ring Road to facilitate these works.

Phase 4 – N76 Callan Road Roundabout to Shellumsrath

Footpath and pavement strengthening works will commence in March 2012 and are expected to be completed by the end of April 2012. Traffic restrictions will be in operation on the N76 to facilitate these works.

Kilkenny County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the course of these works and will endeavour to minimise traffic disruption to Road-users.

N10 Danesfort to Springhill Roundabout Pavement Improvement Scheme

This project involves the structural bituminous overlay of 5km of carriageway and hard-shoulders on the N10 National Route from Danesfort northwards to the Springhill Roundabout, Kilkenny City.

Works will commence at Danesfort on the 7^th of December until the 16^th of December 2011. Following the Christmas break works will recommence on the 9^th of January and are expected to be completed on the 17^th of February 2012.
