N9/N10 Powerstown to Waterford Road
An Bord Pleanala Oral Hearing into the Compulsory Purchase Orders and Environmental Impact Statement on the N9/N10 Powerstown to Waterford Road (part of the Kilcullen to Waterford Road) was held in June 2005. A decision is due shortly. In the meantime design work on the project is continuing, including the preparation of contract documents. Ground Investigation contractors are currently on site on the section south of Knocktopher and will continue on to the remaining part of the scheme in the first half of 2006. Archaeological trenching is scheduled to commence in January 2006.
