PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 - 2010
Pursuant to Section 177AE of the Planning and Development Act 2000-2010 as inserted into the Act by Section 57 (Part XAB) of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act, 2010 and the requirements of the Planning & Development (Amendment) Regulations 2011, Notice is hereby given that Kilkenny County Council proposes to seek the approval of An Bord Pleanala for the construction of the following
a) Approximately 1850m of new 150mm diameter rising main from Ballyhale WWTP, along the N9 towards Thomastown, to a proposed new outfall location at Derrynahinch, together with associated works
A Natural Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
The Board may give approval to the application for development with or without conditions or may refuse the application for development.
The Application and the Natura Impact Statement may be inspected free of charge or purchased at the following offices:
- Kilkenny County Council, Water Services Section, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny
- Kilkenny County Council, Thomastown Area Office, Ladyswell street, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.
between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm from Friday the 13th January, 2012 to Friday the 24th February, 2012
Submissions or observations with regard to the proposed development, relating to
I. The implications of the proposed development for proper planning and sustainable development in the area concerned,
II. The likely effects on the environment of the proposed development and
III. The likely significant effects of the proposed development on a European site
