Newpark Marsh Park measures approximately 9.7hectares (23.7 acres) and is dominated by Newpark Marsh which is designated as a proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA). The park has recently being renovated with the installation of a MUGA and the extension of the footpath network together with the planting of one hundred native semi-mature trees and the overhauling of the dressing rooms. These works were undertaken in partnership with the local community through the Newpark Close Family Resource Centre.
