Notice of Proposed Development by Kilkenny County Council

COAN WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, CO. KILKENNY 

In accordance with Article 179 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Acts 2000 – 2010, as amended, and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 – 2010, as amended, Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out the following development:

It is proposed to construct a new 50 p.e. Wastewater Treatment Plant at Coan West, Coan, Co. Kilkenny

The development will include:

  1. 15 M Long * 4.5 M Wide * 0.76 M High Peat Filter Treatment Plant
  2. 11 M3 Septic Tank
  3. 2.2 M3 Pumping Chamber with 2 No. 1.5 Kw Pumps
  4. Palisade fencing and ancillary site works

 

Plans and Particulars of the proposed Development will be available for inspection in the

  • Water Services Office of Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John St, Kilkenny
  • and the Castlecomer Area Engineering Office, Castlecomer

from 29th July 2011 until 26th August from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm each day,
Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed Development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to:
