POETRY WORKSHOP Saturday 8th April 2017
with Broadsheet 17 editor KIMBERLY CAMPANELLO
A workshop will take place on Saturday 8th April 2017 with Broadsheet editor Kimberly Campanello. Our 2016 workshop with Kimberly Campanello was a great success and we're delighted to welcome her back in 2017. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to meet the editor, get feedback on your work, generate new writing, learn approaches to revision and increase your knowledge of poetic techniques. This is also a chance to gain perspective on the Broadsheet editorial process.
It is important to note that work discussed in the workshop may not be submitted for publication in the Broadsheet.
Kimberly Campanello is a lecturer in Creative Writing at York St. John University. Born in Elkhart, Indiana, she is a dual American and Irish citizen. Her publications include Spinning Cities (Wurm Press, 2011), Consent (Doire Press, 2013), Strange Country (The Dreadful Press, 2015) and Imagines (New Dublin Press, 2015), a prizewinning limited edition book of Campanello's poems with musical scores by composer Benjamin Dwyer and audio recordings by Garth Knox (viola) and Campanello (poetry). MOTHERBABYHOME, a book of conceptual and visual poetry on the St Mary's Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, will appear with zimZalla Avant Objects in 2017.
