Agenda for the Ordinary Meeting of Kilkenny County Council to be held on Monday 18th May, 2009 at 3 p.m. in Council Chamber, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny.

  1.  “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in 11 Kingscourt, Callan, Co. Kilkenny to John Paul Smyth and Lynda Kelly in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002” (Notification issued to members on 7th May, 2009)
  2. “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in 13 Leaca Ard, Ferrybank, Co. Kilkenny (Michael Fagan and Lynda Ryan in accordance with the terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002”. (Notification issued to members on 7th May, 2009)

 

  1. “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in Broxbourne Cottage, Donaguile, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny (Patrick and Jacqueline Dreeling in accordance with terms of the Housing Acts 1966 to 2002” (Notification issued to members on 7th May, 2009)

(i)     “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in land at Gowran Road, Dungarvan, Co. Kilkenny to Thomas Greene, Gowran Road, Dungarvan, Co. Kilkenny  in accordance with details contained in the Notice served under Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001”.  (Notice sent to members on the 7th May, 2009).  

(ii)     “That Kilkenny County Council hereby approves of the disposal of its interest in land at Glendine, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny to Sean Byrne, Glendine, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny in accordance with details contained in the Notice served under Section 183 of the Local Government Act, 2001”.  (Notice sent to members on the 7th May, 2009).

“That Galway County Council rejects the establishment of a second on-farm inspectorate, under the Nitrates Regulations and the Water Framework Directive as a wasteful and unacceptable burden on farmers and unnecessary costs that County Council’s can ill-afford.  This compliance and on-farm inspection work is already being carried out competently by a qualified Department of Agriculture Inspectorate”.
