The Temporary Bathing Prohibition Notice at Thomastown Weir Pool has now been lifted.

A follow up sample was taken on Monday 12^th and further water testing was completed yesterday, the results of this sample detail a return to acceptable water quality and following consultation with the HSE Public Health, the ban on bathing has been lifted.

Kilkenny County Council will continue to monitor lifeguarded swimming areas in the County throughout the bathing season.
