Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2011

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the above Regulations, Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of proposals pertaining to the provision of a new Bus Route and Bus Stop at Abbeypark Housing Estate.

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the above Regulations, Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of proposals relating to the construction of a new bus route/turning area and bus stop within the green area opposite the shop at Abbeypark housing estate.

The Proposed development consists of the following;

• The construction of a 6m wide bus only route /turning area within the Abbeypark green area, vehicles will enter the estate from a new entrance off the Abbey road, located to the southeast of the existing entrance.
• Provision of a Bus Stop and Bus Shelter.
• The construction of new footways to service the Bus Stop.
• Provision of pedestrian crossing facilities.
• All associated road markings and signage.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection from the 16^th of December 2011 to the 27^th of January 2012, at the following Kilkenny County Council offices:

The latest date for receipt of comments on the above scheme is 4pm the 10^th of February 2012.
