Bathing Prohibition Update : The Weir and Bishops Meadows 

⚠️Kilkenny County Council are pleased to announce that the following bathing prohibitions have been LIFTED

• The Weir, Bleach Road
• Bishops Meadows

➡️ The lifting of these restrictions comes after receiving clear water tests in each location, and upon recommendations from the HSE and Public Health officials..

➡️ Lifeguards will be on duty at these locations between the hours of 13:00 and 18:30, seven days a week to accommodate safe bathing.

Kilkenny County Council will continue testing water quality at each location, to ensure safe bathing across the county.
