Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that an emergency road closure currently in place on the LP3408 at Smartscastle, Kilmacow, will be extended until Friday, 25th July in order to facilitate completion of rehabilitation works.

Diversions will be in place via LP3405 Dunkitt and LS7464 Bishopshall – HGVs to divert via LP3408 and R448 Newrath.  Diversions will be clearly signed; local access will be facilitated.

Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
