TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the decision of Kilkenny County Council to apply an emergency road closure on the following public road in order to facilitate bridge repair works at Ballyglassoon, Piltown within the Piltown Municipal District.  This closure will be in place on a 24 hour basis during this period.

Road to be Closed	Alternative Routes	Proposed Duration of Closure
L1044 Ballyglassoon, Piltown, from the junction with L1043 at Ballyglassoon to the junction with L1040 at Ballynametagh	Via L1043 Sandpits, L1035 and L5105 Jamestown and L5121 Ballynametagh	Monday, 15th June, 2026 to Friday, 3rd July, 2026

 

Diversions will be clearly signposted.  Local access will be facilitated.

Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
