The Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2025 for the repair and conservation of protected structures has been announced for the coming year. This announcement is approximately four months earlier than the traditional timeframe and, along with an increase in the value for individual grants that be awarded from €15,000 to €50,000, is one of several changes that have been made to the scheme for 2025 to try to make it more efficient both for applicants and those administering the scheme. All changes are highlighted in the BHIS 2025 Circular.

The closing date for submission of application to Conservation Office, Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny is 4pm 27th September 2024.
