Pre-Planning Clinics

Please Note: Planning Clinics are currently held by telephone.

Kilkenny County Council holds Pre-Planning Clinics to assist those with an interest in applying for planning permission (pre-application consultation) or in replying to requests for further information on existing planning applications.

It is necessary to make an appointment for a Pre-Planning telephone call with the Area Planner. Either the applicant, their technical advisor or their elected public representative may seek an appointment. To arrange an appointment for a pre-planning telephone  call with the Local  Area Planner you must call the relevant Local Area Office who will arrange an appointment for you- please see Local Area Office contact numbers  in the table below.

If it is not possible to facilitate  the pre-planning call on the designated day  an appointment will be made for the next available clinic.
